It's carpet fibers are made from reclaimed drink bottles and 15% of the rubber backing collected from disregarded tires, Our Waterhog™ Eco Elite is the ultimate choice to help the environment "go green". This mat reduces landfill waste by over 400 tons annually through the use of post-consumer recycled PET Polyester and post-consumer recycled car tire rubber. Every square foot of a Waterhog™ Eco Elite mat eliminates 4 half-liter plastic bottles from waste, for example when a 3x5 mat is used approximately 60 bottles are recycled.
