Hawaii State Flags
Hawaii is the only US state flag to feature the Union Jack. The flag of the United Kingdom is displayed in the canon in the top left corner. The flag has 8 stripes of white, red and blue; these represent the 8 major islands (Hawaii, Oahu, Kauai, Kahoolawe, Lanai, Maui, Molokai and Niihau). Some believe that the flag was designed as a deliberate hybrid between the Union Jack and The US flag during the War of 1812 so that Hawaii would not be seen as an ally to either country.
We're proud to offer the Hawaii state flag in two different outdoor fabrics, including nylon for an Hawaii flag that flies in a light wind and an extra-tough polyester Hawaii flag designed to withstand the elements. Even our miniature 4 inch by 6 inch Hawaii flags mounted to a plastic dowel are perfect for classroom, special events, parades and more! Looking for something for a parade or indoor application? Our indoor fringed Hawaii flags feature luxurious gold fringe on 3 sides and a pole sleeve end for a clean look.
