Missouri State Flags
The Missouri State flag celebrates the power, strength and potential of the “Show Me State” with honor and pride. The Missouri flag consists of red, white and blue stripes with the Missouri State Seal at its center. The colors reference the early years of French influence on the state and represent valor, purity, vigilance and justice. The Missouri Coat of Arms displays two grizzly bears which epitomize the strength and bravery of the citizens of the state. A crescent moon typifies the state of Missouri at the time it joined the Union—a state with small population and wealth yet huge potential. The crescent moon also reflects Missouri’s “second son” status as it was the second state carved from the Louisiana Purchase. The Missouri shield further pictures an American eagle grasping an olive branch in one hand and an arrow of war in the other. For Missourians, this image represents the power of the Federal government. The Missouri flag classically represents 24th state to join the Union.
Our Missouri State Flags are available in a variety of sizes and fabrics. Outdoor flags are constructed in two fabrics: our exclusive Beacon Nylon, a lightweight, durable nylon that dries quickly; and our signature Patriarch Polyester, long lasting, extra tough, beautifully woven polyester built for extreme climates and conditions.
Indoor Missouri state flags are made with beautifully stitched nylon and have an open pole sleeve. Plush, gold fringe accents three sides. Flag poles are also available in an assortment of the choices to create a distinguished look or for use in parades. Mini 4”x6” and 8”x12”miniature Missouri State flags make inexpensive tokens of heritage and come mounted on black plastic staffs with plastic spearheads. American Flag and Missouri state flag lapel pins also make great keepsakes or gifts to share with others.
